Combustion Air Mechanical Fault

 

Cause: The safety circuit between S1 and S2 or the Fire Freeze

             Protection (FFP-1) Limit is open.

 

Solution: Check the continuity of the FFP-1 Limit to determine if it is

                open. If there is no continuity, contact your Tjernlund

                Products Representative for a replacement. If there is

                continuity, verify that the wiring between the VFD and the fan

                provides continuity. If continuity does not exist between the

                VFD and fan, replace existing wiring.

 

NOTE: When clearing the Fault History, if "unclearable" appears, ensure you have only the system activated for which you have on site.

 

i.e. If Draft is activated but no draft system is present, the CPC-3 is looking for a safety circuit closure where no safety circuit is present. Deactivate Draft and reset the CPC-3 to allow for Fault History to be cleared.
